It wasn't exactly napalm we used in Iraq
SignOnSanDiego.com reports that those firebombs we dropped near bridges over the Saddam Canal and the Tigris River weren't napalm 'cause we don't have any of that anymore.It was just something remarkably similar to napalm.
Col. Randolph Alles, who commanded Marine Air Group 11, based at Miramar Marine Corps Air Station, is quoted as saying "Unfortunately, there were people there because you could see them in the (cockpit) video. They were Iraqi soldiers there. It's no great way to die".
