Talkin 'Bout Theology
PeaceBang writes about the fact that Unitarian Universalists are talking about theology.As is often the case, I picked up on one made-up word she uses to describe UUs: our pre-offendedness. Yep, that's us ... waiting for someone (an evangelical Christian, perhaps) to say something that automatically offends us. I can relate to that.
For being self-defined open-minded people, we UUs ought to think about being a little more open-minded.

The many close-minded UUs that I know, to say nothing of the suspicicious-minded UUs I know. . . really ought to think about being a little more open-minded.
