The Neo-Cons Own the Language
Progressive Ink! joins those saying that the political right has taken complete ownership of religious language.So, to summarize: the neo-cons own the religious language, but do not practice or embody it - they contradict it. Liberals embody the actual message of the Christian Gospels (and almost every other world religion) but can’t attach it to words they don’t own.
