Jeff Wilson of the Transient and Permanent blog has created his idea of a 30 second video for Unitarian Universalism. He describes it as "tinker[ing] around with the video software on my computer for the first time."I think it's absolutely great for a first try ... maybe even for a 3rd or 4th try.
