Cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad
Many stories have been written about the uproar over cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad which originated in a Danish newspaper. My comment is this: I'm afraid to comment. I have a (hopefully irrational) fear that, if I do, I will be physically attacked by someone whose religious belief says that's ok.
Intellectually, I'm sure I wouldn't be attacked. The thought shouldn't even have occurred to me. But it did.

Guess who has had threats of violence uttered at him by U*Us and has in fact been physically attacked by U*Us, icluding a bona fide fool of a lawyer. . . ;-) for peacefully publicly protesting against U*U injustices, abuses and hypocrisy. . .
It's a sad day when you're afraid to speak something.
On that note, check out this site that will help you do it: www.DrawMohammad.com
Now that the Muslims have shown us where they are vulnerable I expect that this cartoon is only the beginning. I doubt that cartoonists and others will tolerate their free speech being censored by threats from Muslims or anyone else for that matter.
I would not be surprised to hear a proliferation of " Why did Mohammad cross the road..." type jokes and more related cartoons scrawled on the walls of public places.
